Mentorship program off and running

The Emerging Leaders Mentorship Program had its official kick-off event on January 24th, 2024. The program includes 18 participants from across the Department with mentors and mentees from Visitor Services, Administration, Land Acquisitions, and Planning and Resource Management.

This program was started via COMPASS’ Positive Work Culture team and is specifically geared towards supporting the development of stronger connections among staff across the Department.

Participants are meeting on their own with resources provided through the program. There will be a mid-season and end-of-season evaluation period as the program looks for ways to improve and continues to develop emerging leaders within the department for years to come.
