Focused on building understanding and ownership for elements of COMPASS. Engaging staff in detailed development of implementation plan.

Request staff participation as Goal Leaders and participants to identify and help advance key actions and goals. Map DNR’s path for transformation and chart our course for the future.

FOOTHILLS

2023-24

Integration into the Larimer County annual budget process.

Establish regular COMPASS meetings and reporting cycle.

Launch virtual communications tool documenting progress on priorities, actions, and results.

Integrate into individual goal setting and department work planning.

Adjust COMPASS teams based on resources, availability and expertise.

TREELINE

2025-26

Midpoint, in-depth evaluation of outcomes and successes, any need to recalibrate direction, allocation of resources, or gaps.

SUMMIT

2026-27

Revisit COMPASS priorities and tracking templates to identify additional goals and actions to support completion.
